4/6/01 - Mac clients are unable to share Documents or Presentations.
For Mac clients, I will have to share an application, meaning I'll
share PowerPoint instead of loading PowerPoint into WebEx. WebEx
has many demands from large customers to include this functionality
and they target 8/01 as their target completion date.
4/6/01 - If you're on a Mac, you may need to clear your cache,
especially if you don't see the New User button on http://playtimeinc.webex.com.
In IE, Edit->Preferences, click Advanced under Web Browser, click
Cache, and then click Empty Now. In Netscape, Edit->Preferences,
on left hand side, click Advanced, then select Cache. On the right
hand side, click Clear Disk Cache Now button.
4/4/01 - Record/Playback is not supported on the Macintosh. Workaround:
They recommend a product called "Virtual PC" available
at http://www.connectix.com/products/vpc.html.
This is an emulator and they recommend having an extremely fast
Macintosh to support this.
4/4/01 - The Macintosh WebEx Java client doesn't work. Fix: Install
MRJ, the Microsoft Runtime Java client which is available at http://www.apple.com/java/.
Future conference will use the full featured WebEx client which
has support for the Macintosh.
